An Integrative Approach for Treating Sexual Addiction
This workshop serves as an introduction to the IATSA Model (© Jones, 2023) for treating sexual addiction and looks at the key building blocks used to successfully treat sex and pornography addiction. As the name implies, this in an integrative model which draws from outstanding work and theory from a number of recognised specialists in the sex addiction field including Alex Katehakis Ph.D, Dr Eddie Capparucci LPC, C-CSAS (Inner Child Model and Dr Allan Schore (Affect Regulation Theory).

In exploring the IATSA Model (© Jones, 2023) - this workshop shows participants how, when correctly applied, the integrative treatment model can deliver a higher ratio of successful and lasting client outcomes.

Who is the workshop for ?
Practicing clinicians, counsellors and associated professionals working within or having an interest in addiction therapy. This workshop is particularly relevant to sex & porn addiction however can be adapted to wider types of addiction treatment including substance abuse and alcohol.
How long does it take and how do I attend?
This is a 1/2 day, dynamic workshop, normally delivered via Zoom and built around a timed morning session. The course starts promptly at 10am and finishes no later than 2pm.

The course is for a maximum of 10 individuals

The course fee is £199.00* payable in advance at the point of booking.

Using the Inner Child Model as a treatment therapy
Addictions are responsible for individuals engaging in harmful behaviours that result in erosion of self-worth, destruction of relationships, and in some cases, legal consequences.
Many techniques and programs designed to treat addiction are ineffective and leave individuals who have tried to quit numerous times, frustrated and hopeless. We know because we see it every day in our private practices.
