The team at the London Centre for Addictions are all fully qualified, experienced, registered addiction counsellors and psychotherapists. All clinical associates specialise in the treatment of mood disorders and have undertaken further training in substance and sexual addiction. Our informed addiction treatment program is highly effective as we personally understand the devastation addiction causes to both the individual and their loved ones.
In addition to our UK Clinical Associates, we also work alongside several international associates and organisations who provide individual sex addiction and porn addiction psychotherapy, and group therapy in their own countries.
After completing a 28-day rehabilitation program, Nathan developed a profound commitment to supporting individuals facing the challenges of addiction. This dedication led to the founding of the London Centre for Addictions, which offers comprehensive treatment for those struggling with substance abuse and sex addiction. Nathan is passionate about destigmatising addiction treatment and frequently speaks as a keynote presenter at national and international conferences. His presentations often focus on pornography addiction and the Inner Child Model for addressing addictive behaviours.
Having had the privilege of being trained and mentored by the late Dr. Thaddeus Birchard, a pioneering figure in sex addiction treatment in the UK, Nathan continues to build upon Dr. Birchard’s innovative work. Under the mentorship of Dr. Alex Katehakis, a renowned US expert in sex addiction, he has developed the neurobiologically informed Integrative Approach for Treating Sex Addiction (IATSA) model. Nathan also conducts training workshops for clinicians, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to effectively treat sex addiction using this evolving framework.
Currently pursuing a professional doctorate specialising in the treatment of compulsive sexual behaviour disorder, Nathan also serves as an addiction consultant for several bespoke treatment centres across the UK and Europe. His academic contributions include speaking at leading industry events and guest lecturing at universities on pornography addiction.
Nathan is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a qualified member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity (ATSAC). Additionally, he is the co-author of ‘Understanding Your Inner Child and Overcoming Addiction: A Treatment Manual and Workbook’, published by Routledge.
